Luis Eguia

Luis Eguia is an experienced logistics and operations manager with a diverse background in food processing and production management. Currently serving as Logistics Manager at JELD-WEN, Inc. since May 2017, and as Second Shift Operations Manager at Pecan Deluxe Candy Company since November 2013, Eguia effectively applies Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery and lean Sigma methodologies to optimize production and distribution processes. Previous roles include Production Manager at Leon's Texas Cuisine, where operations involved a high-volume food processing plant, and various leadership positions at State Fair Foods, Inc. and Sara Lee, overseeing substantial production outputs. Eguia holds degrees in Operations Tech Management and Accounting from DeVry University and Dallas County Community College, in addition to a diploma in Industrial Engineering from the University of Nuevo Leon.
