Ricky So

Ricky So has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ricky started their career at John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Ltd. in their Management Trainee Program. Ricky then went on to work at Cathay Pacific Airways, where they held multiple positions, including Manager & Chief Representative and Assistant Manager Inflight Services. Ricky also worked at Google as a Key Account Manager before joining Uber, where they held several managerial positions, including Head of Sales for Uber Eats Hong Kong and Senior Regional Operations Manager for Uber Eats APAC. Ricky also worked as the Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations at Klook. Currently, Ricky is an Advisor for various startups and the Chief Commercial Officer at Pelago, a Corporate Venture by Singapore Airlines.

Ricky So attended The University of Hong Kong from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a BBA(Law) degree with a focus on Business, Finance, and Law. In addition to their degree, Ricky has also obtained several certifications, including being recognized as a "35 under 35 Young Leader" by Phocuswright in 2023, completing the Venture Deals program at Techstars in 2023, completing the YC Startup School program at Y Combinator in 2023, obtaining a Diploma of Interior Design from The Interior Design Institute in 2020, and becoming a certified PADI Divemaster through PADI in 2018.
