John Harwood

John Harwood has extensive experience in both religious leadership and academic administration. Serving as Priest-in-Charge at Trinity Episcopal Church and Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Renovo, PA since 2011, John Harwood oversees worship and pastoral care. In addition, John has held various positions at Penn State University since 1980, currently serving as Associate Vice Provost and Senior Director of Teaching and Learning with Technology, focusing on strategic and resource planning. John Harwood also serves as a Deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Central Pennsylvania. Educational achievements include a Certificate of Anglican Studies from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
