Project Controls/change Management Lead at Pennecon

Stephen Penney has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to present. Stephen started their career as a Structural Designer/Technical Manager at NEWDOCK LIMITED from 2003 to 2006. Stephen then worked as a Structural Designer at INTECSEA from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Mech Field Engineer at CNRL Horizon Froth Treatment Plant. In 2009, they joined Pennecon Limited as a Mech Field Engineer for Transocean Grand Banks Refit. Stephen continued at Pennecon Limited, where they held various roles such as Project Manager for the Long Harbour Processing Plant Buildings Erection from 2011 to 2013, Engineering & Controls Manager for Hebron/KKC Structural Steel Fabrication from 2013 to 2014, Deputy Project Manager for Hebron/KKC Structural Decks Assembly from 2014 to 2015, and Project Manager for the Hebron Topsides Installation Support from 2016 to present. Currently, Stephen works at Pennecon as the Project Controls/Change Management Lead since September 2021.

Stephen Penney completed a Diploma in Architectural Engineering Technology/Technician from the College of the North Atlantic from 2000 to 2003. In 2008, they obtained the certification of Professional Technologist from AETTNL. Additionally, in March 2018, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
