Angela Conrad

Angela Conrad has over 25 years of work experience in healthcare. Angela has worked at various organizations, including Peoples Community Health Clinic, MercyOne, and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.

At Peoples Community Health Clinic, Angela currently holds the role of Director of Behavioral Health Operations, starting in December 2022.

Prior to that, Angela worked at MercyOne as the Director of Operations from June 2018 to November 2022.

At Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Iowa, Angela held two different roles. From March 2015 to May 2018, they served as the Manager of Patient Experience and Referral Management, where they developed and oversaw the referral coordination department and implemented strategic plans for quality improvement. From December 2012 to March 2015, Angela was the Patient and Family Experience Coordinator.

Angela's earliest work experience was as a Social Worker at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Covenant Home Health, where they worked from 1995 to 2012.

Overall, Angela has demonstrated expertise in operations, patient experience, referral management, and behavioral health operations.

Angela Conrad holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from the University of Kentucky. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Work at the University of Northern Iowa. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified Patient Experience Professional from the Patient Experience Institute in February 2016. Angela also holds a license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker, obtained from the Iowa Department of Public Health in 2000.
