Director of People Operations at Perfect Storm Studios

Seamus Landry has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Seamus is currently working as the Director of People Operations at Perfect Storm Studios, a fully remote game development company. Prior to this, they worked as a Statistics Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring from December 2018 to September 2021.

Seamus also held multiple roles at Gamers Academy, LLC, starting as Vice President from September 2019 to April 2021, and then as General Manager from September 2019 to February 2020. In these positions, they were responsible for hiring, onboarding, and managing staff, as well as overseeing IT support and purchasing.

Seamus briefly worked as a Research Analyst & Business Consultant at a Confidential Employer from February 2020 to July 2020. Before that, Seamus gained experience as an Associate Project Coordinator at The McCarty Company from July 2018 to February 2019, where they worked on managing project timelines and building relationships with city employees.

Seamus also has experience in the education sector, having worked as a Lower School Coding Teacher at New Roads Elementary School from August 2017 to December 2017. Seamus developed technology curriculum and taught students aged 5-11 in computer safety and digital literacy.

In addition, Seamus previously worked as an Executive Assistant at a Confidential Employer from June 2016 to January 2017, where they conducted research, organized meetings, and summarized relevant points from news articles and scientific journals.

Before that, they worked as a Sales Associate at Omni Marketing Studios from January 2016 to June 2016, where they managed sales records and customer accounts and helped develop company literature.

Seamus also has experience in the education sector as a Lower School Technology Integrationist at Mirman School from August 2013 to July 2015. Seamus developed technology curriculum, trained and supported faculty in integrating technology, and taught technology courses to students aged 5-11. Seamus also briefly served as an Interim Upper School Technology Integrationist from December 2013 to August 2014, and started their career as an Assistant Teacher from August 2008 to August 2013.

Lastly, Seamus worked as the C.I.L.T. Director (Counselors in Leadership Training) at Camp Keystone from June 2008 to August 2009.

Seamus Landry completed their Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Loyola Marymount University from 2003 to 2007. Seamus then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge from 2010 to 2015. In addition, Seamus also completed a Certificate program in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from UC San Diego Extended Studies, which lasted from 2010 to 2011.
