Jaminda Bass Holmes

Jaminda Bass Holmes is a highly experienced professional in the field of design and development of luxury fiber apparel. Jaminda began their career at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, where they worked as an intern to the Textile Curator in 1994. From 1996 to 1996, Jaminda worked at Asiatica as a Designer / Cutter, specializing in creating one-of-a-kind garments from vintage Kimono and contemporary designer textiles. Jaminda then joined the Spencer Museum of Art as an intern to the Textile Conservator from 1993 to 1995. In 1997, they started working at Peruvian Connection as a Designer, specializing in Knitwear and Surface Pattern Design. Later, they were promoted to the role of Director of Design Development, where they supervised a team of in-house and contract designers. Jaminda has extensive experience in men's and women's apparel design, product development, sourcing, and merchandising, with expertise in Knitwear, Full Fashion, and Cut & Sew.

Jaminda Bass Holmes received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design - Textiles from The University of Kansas in the years 1991 to 1995.
