Jon Zebill has over 34 years of work experience in a variety of roles. From 1987 to 1994, they worked at Vishay/Dale Electronics as a Production Foreman. From 1994 to 1995, they worked at Aalfs Manufacturing as a Facility Manager. From 1995 to 2004, they worked at Larson Manufacturing as a Production Supervisor. From 2004 to 2005, they worked at Electronics Systems Inc as a Production Team Manager. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Cummins Filtration as a Manufacturing Leader, VPI Project Manager, and Continuous Improvement Manager/Six Sigma Black Belt. From 2009 to 2017, they worked at Airlite Plastics Co as an EPS Supply Chain Specialist and Project Manager. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Saint-Gobain as a Continuous Improvement and Warehouse Manager. Since 2021, they have been working at Phase Technologies as an Operations Manager. In these roles, Jon has coordinated change control efforts in manufacturing, assigned duties or responsibilities to project personnel, managed and overseen intradepartmental projects, communicated with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives, lead an aggressive 5S program to clear shop floor and improve process flow, implemented a new safety program with PPE and active risk reduction, utilized visual management to monitor equipment PM activity and responsibility, monitored progress of Standard KAIZENS through stage gate reviews, mentored new project leaders in scoping projects and effective team building, monitored inventory at 18 contract molders, developed mathematical modeling to assist with forecasting and production planning, designed/conducted DOEs to determine turbulent flow and maximize mold tool cooling, developed standard work procedures for process trouble shooting, machine s/u sheets, and take-out robot operation, managed testing of new to market clear polypropylene resins in a variety of container applications, managed Value Stream operations across all shifts, used teams to achieve continuous improvement in areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Employee Moral, monitored progress of Lake Mills projects against VPI checklists, developed and delivered VPI/VPC awareness training to Lake Mills employees, delivered over $2.2 million in savings on the four 6S projects completed, defined product families, prepared current and future state value stream maps, supervised 5 salaried supervisors, 3 assembly lines and 4 support departments, 155+ employees total, assumed control of Receiving and Shipping Departments, oversaw Receiving and Shipping personnel and functions in two plants, managed 2 production areas which included 65 employees, and 3 Team Leaders, co-leader in the acquisition of a $7, assumed overall responsibility for a 40,000 square foot denim products finishing facility with 115 employees, provided direction and development for 3 supervisors, 2 instructors, and personnel representative, developed integrated training programs, and directed the production of axial lead and surface mount inductor lines.
Jon Zebill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
