Damien Bouvet

Damien BOUVET is a highly experienced data scientist and engineer with a strong focus on machine learning and data engineering. Presently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at PHAST since February 2023, Damien previously held a similar role at Zenika for six years, where significant projects included developing automated trading solutions using reinforcement learning and predictive models for stock and Bitcoin prices based on recurrent neural networks. Damien's technical expertise encompasses a wide array of tools and platforms, including TensorFlow, AWS, and PySpark. With a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics from Université Grenoble Alpes and extensive experience in the development of complex systems across various industries, Damien has also contributed to educational initiatives by creating and delivering training on deep learning and machine learning while actively publishing blog articles. Prior roles include leadership in data engineering and applications development for major organizations like Enedis and SNCF, showcasing a robust capability in managing large-scale data architectures and fostering team development.
