James Duvall

Chief Engineer, ARES Program at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation

James Duvall has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Bi-State Fire and Mechanical in 2003. In 2005, they joined the US Navy as a Student Naval Aviator, eventually working their way up to become the Head of Training Department. In 2017, Duvall transitioned to a civilian role at Baxter International Inc. where they served as a Principal Engineer and later a Senior Principal Engineer, contributing to various New Product Development projects and achieving significant cost savings. Concurrently, they also served in the US Navy Reserves where they held positions such as R&D Liaison Officer and Executive Officer of the Office of Naval Research Science and Technology Unit. James'smost recent role is as the Chief Engineer of the ARES Program at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation, starting in 2020.

James Duvall earned a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland, where they studied between 1997 and 2002.

In addition to their formal education, James Duvall has also obtained two certifications. In 2017, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes.
