Häkkinen Jukka

Jukka Häkkinen has extensive experience in the medical field, particularly in urology. Häkkinen worked as a Senior Consultant Urologist at Hatanpää Hospital starting in 2006. In 2016, they became the Division Chief at Tyks - VSSHP - Turku University Hospital and held that role until 2019. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing the department of urology. Jukka Häkkinen is currently the Medical Director in the Northern Finland area for Pihlajalinna, where they manage medical affairs in private clinics and hospitals in the cities of Oulu, Rovaniemi, Raahe, and Levi.

Häkkinen Jukka has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Oulu, awarded in 1984. Häkkinen then specialized in Surgery, completing their specialist training in 1991 at the same university. Jukka further specialized in Urology, becoming a Specialist in Urology at the University of Oulu in 1993. Häkkinen obtained the title of Fellow of European Board of Urology (FEBU) from the European Board of Urology in Paris in 2004. Continuing their education, Jukka pursued Epidemiology and Urology, earning a Doctor in Medicine (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Tampere in 2007. Currently, they are a Docent in Urology at the University of Tampere, specializing in Epidemiology, Urology, and LUTS.
