Dean Kwon

Dean Kwon has over 20 years of work experience, with a focus on finance and investment. Dean currently holds the position of Head of Finance APAC at PIMCO Prime Real Estate since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, Dean served as the Chief Financial Officer at CLSA Capital Partners. Prior to that, they worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 2011 to 2018 as an Executive Director. From 2009 to 2011, they held the role of CFO - Southeast Asia at GE Capital, and from 2006 to 2009, they worked as an FP&A Manager - Korea for the same company. Dean started their career at General Electric Company, serving as a Corporate Audit Staff from 2004 to 2006 and as part of the Financial Management Program from 2002 to 2004. Prior to joining GE, they served as a First Lieutenant in the Republic of Korea Army from 1999 to 2002.

Dean Kwon completed their undergraduate education from 1994 to 1998 at the University of Virginia, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their studies focused on the fields of Foreign Affairs and Economics.
