Robin Emig

Robin Emig has extensive experience in scientific computing, informatics, and data science, with leadership roles in various biotech companies. As the Director of Scientific Computing at Pivot Bio, Robin led a team of data scientists and software engineers. Prior to this, Robin served as the Director of Informatics at Augmenta Bioworks, overseeing bioinformatics and IT functions. With a background in bioinformatics, Robin also managed international teams and led projects in data science and informatics at DuPont Pioneer. Additionally, Robin has experience in structural biology and HTP screening at Pacific Biosciences and leadership roles in bioinformatics at Maxygen and Calgene/Monsanto.

Robin Emig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Computer Science from the University of California, Davis from 1992 to 1996.
