Jacob Friedman has a diverse work experience, having worked in various roles for a number of companies since 2008. Jacob began their career as an Intern for the Council on Foreign Relations in Middle East Studies, followed by an Internship at the United Nations in the Situation Center of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations. In 2011, they worked as a Search and Selection for Endeavor Egypt, followed by a Researcher role at Deutsche Bank Research in 2012. In 2013, they took on the role of Director of Business Development at EventKingdom and in 2014 they became an InSITE Fellow, where they were selected from a diverse range of backgrounds to work with high-potential emerging companies. In 2015, they were an MBA Intern at BMW i Ventures and from 2016-2020 they worked at Via - On-Demand Transit, first as a Director of Expansion and then as a Product Principal. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Plan A as the Vice President of Customer Success and they are currently part of the Founding Team and Head of Operations & Community at Rewiring America.
Jacob Friedman attended Harvard Business School from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Jacob previously attended Brown University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) with Honors in International Relations.
