Atte Sorvettula

Atte Sorvettula has extensive experience in compliance, legal, and corporate responsibility roles. Atte is currently the Head of Compliance & Corporate Responsibility at Planmeca, where they are responsible for managing and developing the company's global compliance and corporate responsibility program. Prior to this, Atte worked as the Director of Legal & Compliance for CBRE Nordics, overseeing the legal and compliance functions for the region. Atte also served as the Country Compliance & Legal Officer at CBRE Finland, where they focused on ensuring compliance with legislation and implementing legal processes. Earlier in their career, Atte worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel for KONE Corporation, providing legal support in various areas including contract law and intellectual property. Atte began their legal career at Asianajotoimisto Kallioniemi Oy, gaining experience in drafting legal documentation and researching various legal areas.

Atte Sorvettula completed their education at various institutions. Atte obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the University of Helsinki in 2016. Atte then pursued further studies and received a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law from the University of Helsinki in 2018. In addition, they attended the Hanken School of Economics from 2016 to 2019 and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics and Business Administration. As part of their academic journey, they participated in an exchange semester at the University of Melbourne in 2016. Atte Sorvettula also holds several certifications, including Ethics of AI and Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki, obtained in 2023. Atte is a Certified Board Member (HHJ) from the Keskuskauppakamari (Finland Chamber of Commerce), acquired in 2022, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker (LKV) from the same institution, received in 2019.
