Aleksandra Habich-Crayton is a Senior Scientist at Plasticell Limited since 2020. From 2011 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher/Lecturer at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Faculty of Medical Sciences UWM, where they researched the therapeutic potential of BM-MSC (Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells) in patients with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and in swine model of Intervertebral Disc Degeneration. From 2004 to 2011, they were a Member of Research Staff at the NeuroRepair Department, Mossakowski Medical Research, Centre Polish Academy of Sciences, where they researched neural differentiation of non-hematopoietic Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cells in vitro. Her responsibilities included isolation and stem cells culture in vitro and optimization of cell culture methods.
Aleksandra Habich-Crayton earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in cell biology from the University of Warsaw between 1998 and 2003. Aleksandra then went on to earn their PhD in neurobiology and stem cells from Mossakowski Medical Research, Centre Polish Academy of Sciences between 2004 and 2011.
