John Michael Hairston

John Michael Hairston has extensive experience in wildlife management and related fields, currently serving as the Region Manager for Central Texas at Plateau Land & Wildlife Management, Inc. since July 2021, along with a role as a Wildlife Products & Services Technician. Prior to this, John managed domestic responsibilities as a Stay-at-Home Dad from September 2015 to July 2021. Earlier career roles include positions at PICKUP Instant Delivery, Hill Country Water Gardens and Nursery, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, where John gained valuable skills in customer service, physical labor, and wildlife conservation. John began their academic journey at Temple College, continued at Texas A&M University earning a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, and later studied Full Stack Web Development at Woz U.
