Giovanna Abramo has a diverse work experience, having held positions in both the corporate and startup worlds. Giovanna began their career in 2013 as a Research Internship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2015, they completed a Student Internship at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2016, they worked as a Business Analyst at Auric Consulting. From 2017 to 2020, they held multiple positions, including Senior Associate Consultant and Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, Co-Founder of NeighborHealth, and Lead of International Expansion at moons. Most recently, in 2021, they became Co-Founder of Plenna, an O2O (online to offline) platform that provides unique, affordable and comprehensive care to women in Mexico. Additionally, they also completed a Pre MBA Investment Internship at SAGANA in 2020.

Giovanna Abramo has a diverse educational background. Giovanna began their studies in 2012 at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they obtained their degree in Ingeniería Biomédica/Médica in 2017. During their studies, they also completed a diploma program at The International Baccalaureate in 2012, as well as a Diplomado de Ética Empresarial at VALIA in 2012. In 2014, they completed an international exchange program at Technische Universität Graz in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In 2016, they obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Currently, they are completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, which they will finish in 2022. In addition, they have obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in 2018.
