Eric Perakslis

Eric Perakslis PhD serves as the Chief Scientific and Data Officer at Pluto Health and the SVP & Chief Technology Officer at IMIDomics Inc. since November 2023. Prior roles include Chief Science & Digital Officer at Duke Clinical Research Institute, Rubenstein Fellow at Duke University, and Chief Science Officer at Datavant. Eric Perakslis has extensive experience in informatics and technology leadership, having worked as Senior Vice President of Informatics at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and as Executive Director of the Center for Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. Earlier in the career, Eric held significant positions at the FDA as Chief Information Officer and Chief Scientist (Informatics) and at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D as Senior Vice President R&D IT. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering from Drexel University and an M.S. in Engineering from Mississippi State University, complemented by a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
