Jin Yun Chow

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Polygence

Jin Yun Chow's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2015, they worked as an intern at Sotheby's, where they assisted in the Chinese art and porcelain department and helped write catalogues for auctions. Starting in 2017, Jin Yun Chow became a PhD candidate at Stanford University, specializing in French language and literature. They also worked as a teacher for the language sequence FRENLANG 1 and 2, with plans to continue teaching FRENLANG 3, as well as co-teach a seminar in France. During their time at Stanford, they also served as a NextGen board member for LifeMoves, working on advocacy, outreach, and fundraising for homeless services. Prior to Stanford, Jin Yun Chow worked as a teacher and academic coach at Baker and Bloom Education Center. They also had a freelance writing role at Positively Filipino magazine, where they wrote an article based on their valedictory address to Princeton's Class of 2017. In 2020, Jin Yun Chow co-founded Polygence and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Jin Yun Chow completed their Bachelor's Degree in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Comparative Literature at Stanford University, which they began in 2017 and are expected to complete in 2024. Prior to their university education, Jin Yun Chow attended the Independent Schools Foundation Academy from 2003 to 2013, where they completed their International Baccalaureate for their high school education.
