Erika Bajka Martel

Erika Bajka Martel has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and operations. Erika started their career at COR as a Research Consultant from 1998 to 1999. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Consultant at Theravance, corcept, and Corgentech. In 2004, they served as a Consultant at Genencor and KAI Pharmaceuticals. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Consultant for Forbes Medi-Tech.

In 1995, Martel joined Martel Clinical Research as a Clinical Research Consultant. In this role, they worked as a Clinical Operations consultant to small to mid-size pharmaceutical and biotech firms. Erika'sresponsibilities included CRO selection, budget analysis and negotiation, and the management of outsourced trials from start-up to closure.

From 1996 to 2016, they served as a Consultant at Protrials. Lastly, since 2016, they have been working as a Sr Director of Clinical Operations/Consultant at Polynoma LLC.

Erika Bajka Martel holds an MBA in Business from Santa Clara University. Erika completed their Bachelor's degree in Biological and Chemical Sciences from California State University, Chico, between 1979 and 1984. Prior to their university education, Erika attended Los Altos HS, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
