Helena Avellán

Helena Avellán has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Helena most recently worked as the Head of Group Business Control at Pophouse Entertainment Group starting in November 2020. Prior to that, from April 2013 to March 2021, they served as an Independent Interim Financial Consultant at AIM - Avellán Interim Management AB. Helena also held the position of Financial Controller at Edrington Nordic from July 2009 to August 2014. Before that, they worked as a Financial Controller and Head of Accounting at MFEX Mutual Funds Exchange AB from December 2008 to July 2009. Their career began in 1998 at Kaupthing Bank where they worked as a Financial Controller for over a decade until December 2008.

Helena Avellán began their education in 1991 at Östra Reals gymnasium where they studied Ekonomi (Economics) until 1994. In 1995, they attended Stockholms universitet for one year, focusing on Juridik (Law). The following year, Helena enrolled at IF Alpes, Institut Français des Alpes, where they studied French Language and Literature for one year. In 1999, they pursued a degree in Ekonomi (Economics) at FEI Företagsekonomiska Institutet and completed it in 2001, specializing in Ekonomichef / controller. In 2015, Helena Avellán attended Probana Business School and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2016.
