Michael Walsh

Michael Walsh is an accomplished academic and medical professional with extensive experience in medicine, clinical epidemiology, and biostatistics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at McMaster University since July 2012, Michael also holds the role of Medical Lead for Person Centred Care at the Ontario Renal Network and has been a Scientist at the Population Health Research Institute since July 2014. Additionally, Michael practices as a Physician at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton since July 2011. Michael earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University (2009-2012) and holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary (2006-2009) and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the same institution (1998-2001). Michael has pursued further education at the University of Cambridge and Simon Fraser University.
