We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
JOB TITLE: Enterprise Business Architect
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: fixed term, 1 year.
REPORTS TO: Chief Technology Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
As an Enterprise/Business Architect at Portwest, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, ensuring scalability, and fostering innovation, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence. Your expertise will drive efficiency and support our mission of sustainable growth. This role is crucial for architecting the removal and timing of technical debt throughout the organisation.
Streamline business processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Foster innovation, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence applications.
Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture that aligns with business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical debt.
Architect and implement solutions for the removal and management of technical debt.
Ensure that IT and business strategies are aligned.
Provide guidance on best practices for enterprise architecture and technology trends.
Document and communicate architectural frameworks and guidelines.
Support project teams in architecture design and implementation phases.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Enterprise/Business Architect or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence and its applications in a business context.
Ability to identify and manage technical debt.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline complex processes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving corporate environment.
