Yuyu Li has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Posh Technologies. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they developed systems in Watson Assistant chat bot using context-free grammars through ANTLR4 to detect, parse, and normalize user input. Yuyu also evaluated performance of various implementations of system entities to determine best use of models and internal tools. In 2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they aggregated and prepared data on 1000+ companies for use in a machine learning project to predict startup success. In 2016, they worked as a Summer Technology Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they built a dynamic Web application with responsive mobile UI with Bootstrap and used DataTables API to allow users to edit live credit risk data. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Rocket Software, where they applied WebGL, the Google Maps API, and Three.js to render 3D models overlaid on a map. Yuyu also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they utilized psiTurk and JSON to develop a web application to test a computational model of intention. In 2014, they worked as a Faculty/Staff Technician at Wellesley College, where they assisted students, staff, and alumnae with technological issues including malware, systems accounts, connectivity, printing, and software troubleshooting.
Yuyu Li attended Walter Payton College Prep from 2009 to 2013, and then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Wellesley College from 2013 to 2017.
