Marie Romel

Marie Romel is currently working as a Transition Specialist at Poudre School District since August 2009. Prior to this role, Marie worked as a Special education teacher at the same district. Before that, Marie was a Mental Health Therapist at Turning Point Center for Youth & Family Development from June 2005 to August 2008. Marie also served as a Foster Care Director at Wingshadow from July 2004 to July 2005 and as a Coordinator at Upward Bound- University of Wyoming (Trio) from October 2002 to July 2004. Marie holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership and Special Education Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Arts (MA) in Special Education from the same university, a Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Michigan University.
