Dominic Monfre's work experience includes a current role as a Process Engineer at Power Integrations. Previously, they held various positions at IQE, starting as an MBE Technician from May 2006 to July 2008. Dominic then worked as an MBE Engineer from August 2008 to December 2008 and as a Process Analyst from December 2008 to July 2016. From August 2016 to June 2021, they served as an Associate Epi Process Engineer, responsible for the day-to-day operation of MBE and/or MOCVD reactors. Their most recent position at IQE was as an EPI Process Engineer from June 2021 to May 2022, where they were responsible for setting growth parameters, writing growth recipes, reviewing and interpreting growth and characterization data, and directing process adjustments for various technologies.
Dominic Monfre began their education at Tulane University in 1997, studying Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies for one year. Dominic then transferred to the University of Arizona, where they pursued two degrees simultaneously. From 1998 to 2001, they studied Evolutionary Biology with a focus on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in East Asian Studies. Following their time at the University of Arizona, Dominic attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2002 to 2004, where they studied Japanese Language and Literature.
