Sara Mulhauser

Sara Mulhauser has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to project management, operations, and policy in the energy and architecture industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Customer Project Management at Powin, where they are responsible for overseeing customer projects. Before joining Powin, Sara worked at Bloom Energy, where they held several senior roles, including Senior Manager of Structured Finance and Senior Project Manager of Supply Chain. Sara also has experience working as a Postgraduate Student Intern at NARUC's Center for Partnerships & Innovation and as the Director of Berkeley Cleantech University Prize at Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative. Sara's educational background includes studying at the University of California, Berkeley, and participating in various research and policy analysis programs related to clean energy and innovation. Prior to entering the energy industry, Sara worked as an architect in several firms. Overall, their work experience reflects a diverse skill set and a strong focus on project management, operations improvement, and policy development in the energy sector.

Sara Mulhauser earned a Master of Science degree in Energy and Resources Group from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2017 to 2019. Sara also obtained a Master of Public Policy degree from the University's Goldman School of Public Policy during the same period. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1994 and 1999. Sara attended El Toro High School for their secondary education. Sara has additional certifications, including a Certificate in Engineering and Business for Sustainability from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2018, and they are a Registered Architect, certified by the California Architects Board and The University of the State of New York - Education Department in 2008. Sara is also a Construction Document Technologist certified by the Construction Specifications Institute in 2008 and a LEED Accredited Professional certified by the Green Building Certification Institute in 2002.
