Shah Khan has a long history of work experience in the field of clinical biomarkers and research. Shah began their career in 1994 as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Post-Docotoral Trainee at the Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1998, they transitioned to the University of Minnesota, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and women’s Health as a Research Associate. In 2000, they moved to the University of Minnesota, Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology as a Sr. Research Associate. From 2001 to 2016, Khan worked at R&D Systems, where they held the roles of Scientist 1, Human Assay Research & Development, Scientist, Intracellular Department, and Technical Support Specialist. Khan then moved to Sword Diagnostics as Manager/Sr. Appication Scientist - New Product Development & Mnufacturing from 2016 to 2018. Most recently, they have been working at Prenosis as Associate Director/Lead Scientist-Clinical Biomarkers since 2018.
Shah Khan received their BS in Biological Sciences from Osmania University between 1981 and 1984. Shah then went on to receive their MS in Biochemistry from Osmania University between 1984 and 1986. After that, they completed their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Hyderabad between 1987 and 1993. Finally, they attended the University of Minnesota between 1994 and 1995 to study Immunology and Neuro-Immune Interactions.
