Giannis Zachariadis has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Giannis co-founded Pressidium in 2014, a reliable and scalable managed WordPress hosting platform. Prior to that, in 2013, they co-founded TechIO, a startup focused on performance engineering and expert services for the ICT industry. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Forthnet Group as a Systems & Services Architect, where they were responsible for requirements analysis, system design, and maintenance of existing systems. In 2011, they worked as a Solution Architect and Engineer at TrafficBroker, maintaining and extending an ad network solution. Giannis also gained experience as a Senior Systems Administrator at Forthnet and as a System and Database Administrator in the Hellenic Navy. Additionally, they worked as a freelance web developer and software developer early in their career.
Giannis Zachariadis pursued their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering and Pedagogical Studies from the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education. Giannis attended this institution from 1999 to 2004. After completing their undergraduate studies, Giannis enrolled at the University of Glasgow, where they pursued an MSc in Information Technology. Giannis attended the University of Glasgow for one year, from 2004 to 2005.
