Jacques White is an experienced marine and environmental scientist with a diverse background in conservation, research, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Prince William Sound Science Center and an Advisory Board Member for the Basin-Scale Events to Coastal Impacts (BECI) project, Jacques also advises the US Delegation to the North Pacific Anadromous Fish Commission. As the Chief Executive Officer of Long Live the Kings, Jacques leads efforts to restore wild salmon and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest. Previous roles include Director of Marine Conservation at The Nature Conservancy and Director of Science and Habitat Programs at People For Puget Sound, with notable achievements in habitat restoration and marine conservation funding. Jacques holds a Ph.D. in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science from the University of Maryland and has contributed to significant research and policy development throughout a career spanning over three decades.
