Joshua Caplan

Joshua Caplan is a seasoned professional in the fields of environmental sustainability and energy management. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Energy Management Coach at Prism Engineering since April 2021, Joshua has previously held various managerial positions at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia from February 2017 to March 2021, focusing on safety and environmental sustainability. Experience as a Client Advisor at Climate Smart involved assisting small and medium enterprises in quantifying their carbon footprints and devising emission reduction strategies. Joshua also founded Caplan Consulting, providing consulting services within the green economy, and has worked for organizations such as Offsetters and BIG Green Island Transportation Station. Educational credentials include an MBA in Sustainable Business from Pinchot University, a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment from Concordia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from the University of Victoria.
