Chowan Cowans

Chowan Cowans is a seasoned nursing professional with extensive experience in clinical care and training. Since October 2017, Chowan has served as a Corporate Trainer and Clinical Care Nurse at ProgenyHealth, LLC. Prior roles include NICU RN at Main Line Health from July 2005 to May 2018, PCMH Care Manager at Abington Memorial Hospital from May 2016 to October 2017, and Nurse Home Visitor for the Philadelphia Nurse-Family Partnership from November 2012 to May 2016, focusing on maternal and child health for low-income first-time mothers. Additionally, Chowan contributed as a Provider Quality Assurance Nurse at the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health from October 2010 to November 2012, supporting the Vaccine for Children Program. Chowan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from Villanova University and a High School Diploma from Central High School.
