Alina Gaber

Alina Gaber has extensive experience in talent acquisition. Alina currently holds the position of Director, Talent Acquisition at Progress since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager, Global Talent Acquisition at the same company from August 2020 to November 2021. Alina also held the role of Manager, Talent Acquisition - EMEA from March 2019 to August 2020. Before joining Progress, they worked as a Principal Talent Acquisition Specialist - EMEA from February 2018 to March 2019 and as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - EMEA from February 2017 to February 2018. Their earlier work experience includes the role of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist from July 2015 to January 2017 at an undisclosed company.

Additionally, Alina Gaber has previous work experience at Entain, where they worked as a Resourcing Partner from May 2008 to July 2015, managing recruitment activities for the Bulgaria and Israel offices. Alina was responsible for strategic resourcing, social media content creation, and agile HR practices.

Furthermore, Alina Gaber worked as an In-house Recruiter at Hewlett-Packard from October 2007 to May 2008 and as an IT Recruiter at Mastech, Inc. from July 2006 to October 2007. In these roles, they conducted applicant screenings, sourced candidates, negotiated compensation and benefits, and handled various types of candidates, including Green Card holders and US citizens.

Alina Gaber attended the Foreign Language School "Ekzarh Iossiff" where they studied English Language. Alina then went on to pursue a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
