Andi Markell

Andi Markell, RD, LD, MSL-BC, CSP has over 18 years of experience in the field of nutrition. Andi began their career at Legacy Health in 2001 as a Neonatal & Pediatric Lead Clinical Dietitian. In 2018, they joined Prolacta Bioscience as the Director of Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Nutrition. In this role, they connected healthcare professionals with the latest science to maximize the benefits of neonatal nutrition at the bedside. Andi also developed and implemented nutritional programs with hospitals and provided healthcare providers with balanced medical and nutritional information. Additionally, they served as the Sales Training Manager.

Andi Markell, RD, LD, MSL-BC, CSP has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from Oregon State University, obtained between 1994 and 1999. Andi obtained their Dietetic Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration in 2000, and their Licensed Dietitian from the Oregon Health Licensing Board of Licensed Dietitians in 2001. Andi completed their Dietetic Internship at Sea Mar Community Health Centers in 1999. In 2020, they obtained their Medical Science Liaison - Board Certification from the Medical Science Liaison Society, and in 2021, they obtained their Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
