Jacqui Mendez-Johnson

Jacqui Mendez-Johnson is a Senior Product Quality Assurance Scientist at Promega Corporation since March 2022, following a lengthy tenure at the same organization from 1992 to 2018, where various roles included Senior Research and Development Scientist, Research and Development Scientist, Process Development Scientist, and Quality Assurance Scientist. Responsibilities encompassed managing custom cell-based assay development, leading the commercialization of innovative assays such as NanoBRET, and contributing significantly to the HaloCHIP technology and MagneGST particles. Jacqui has also improved processes and products, developed analytical assays, and implemented quality control protocols. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
