Lorenzo Franco Ranucci

Lorenzo Franco Ranucci has extensive experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing and managing various applications. Lorenzo Franco began their career as a Freelance Software Engineer in 2013, where they specialized in web and mobile application engineering using technologies such as Magento 2, Joomla, PHP, Java, Android, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at UmbriaDigitale s.c.a.r.l., where they served as a Data Engineer, managing the transformation of data into Linked Open Data by designing ETL processes, selecting RDF ontologies, and building a SPARQL database. Lorenzo Franco also developed web applications in Java and PHP during this time. In 2018, they joined Accenture as an Application Development Analyst, focusing on the technological modernization of a complex legacy system used by the Italian traffic police. Lorenzo Franco utilized Java with the Swing framework and Oracle DB for this project. Furthermore, in 2019, they joined ProntoPro as a Software Engineer, and later progressed to the roles of Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and finally Senior Staff Software Engineer. In these positions, they led the development of new features, managed software engineering teams, and implemented microservices and event-driven architectures to create a scalable and reliable platform. Lorenzo Franco also collaborated with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

Lorenzo Franco Ranucci obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Perugia, completing the program from 2014 to 2018.
