Arthur Lesage

Arthur Lesage has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data science, computer vision, and physics. Arthur currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at ProovStation since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at AnotherBrain from July 2019 to April 2021, where they were involved in product-oriented R&D for quality control in the industry using computer vision and deep learning techniques.

Arthur also worked at Sopra Steria from October 2017 to June 2019 as a Data Scientist, leading the R&D strategy and working on projects in sectors such as defence, road safety, public finance, and employment. At CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, Arthur completed their PhD in collaboration with ATLAS, based at CERN from October 2014 to September 2017, where they gained visibility as a researcher and presented their work in internal meetings and conferences.

Before that, they worked as an MPhil student at the University of Cambridge from October 2013 to September 2014, where they conducted research on the properties of the one-dimensional electron gas using multiplexing techniques for measurement automation and increased statistics.

Arthur Lesage's education history begins in 1996 at the Municipal Conservatory of Saint Laurent du Var, where they obtained an End of Musical Studies Certificate in Musical Theory (solfeggio) and Harp. From 2006 to 2009, Arthur attended Lycée Auguste Renoir, earning a Baccalauréat Général (A levels) with a focus on Sciences and Maths. Arthur then proceeded to Lycée Louis le Grand from 2009 to 2011, completing Classe préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles with a specialization in Maths and Physics (Engineering Sciences).

In 2011, Arthur enrolled at CentraleSupélec, where they pursued an Engineering diploma until 2014. Simultaneously, in 2013 and 2014, they attended the University of Cambridge and obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Semiconductor Physics. During this time, Arthur also resumed studies at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), obtaining a Licentiate degree in Fundamental Physics from 2011 to 2012.

Arthur's academic journey concluded at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), where they undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physique (Particle Physics) from 2014 to 2017.
