Gerhard Buys

Gerhard Buys has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gerhard is currently working at Propay (Pty) Ltd as a Senior Business Analyst, where they manage projects and collaborates with stakeholders for custom development and integration development. Prior to this, Gerhard worked at Yannitech as a Senior Business Analyst Lead, overseeing the automation of processes and increasing business efficiencies on the MTN ASP Project. Gerhard also acted as the BA Team Lead, providing guidance and support to the BA team. Before Yannitech, Gerhard worked at MiX Telematics in various roles including Implementation Specialist, Service Desk Specialist, Business Analyst, and Credit Controller. Gerhard also gained experience in credit control at Budget Car and Van Rental and worked as a Somelier at The Brudenell Hotel.

Gerhard Buys obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the IU International University of Applied Sciences, which they attended from 2022 to 2028. Prior to that, they received a certificate in Project Management from Torgue IT in 2018. In the same year, they also completed the Prince2 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2017, Gerhard completed the Advanced Business Analysis Program from the Faculty Training Institute. Before pursuing their higher education, in 2016, they obtained an Advanced Business Analyst certificate from the Faculty Training Institute. In 2015, they earned certifications in A+ and N+ from CompTIA. Lastly, Gerhard holds a N4 degree in Electronic Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, which they obtained in 2004.
