Laura Pesquera Prieto has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laura started their career in 1997 as a Hostess at Azafatas Valladolid and worked there until 2004. In 2005, they briefly worked as a Laboratory Technician at Teagasc. From 2006 to 2013, Laura worked as a Food Technologist at Industrias Roko SA, where they provided technical support to food industries and contributed to new product development. In 2013, they joined Productos Solubles: PROSOL as a Quality Assurance Technician and worked on the quality management system and labelling products. Laura then progressed to the role of R&D technician, where they were responsible for designing coffee capsules, developing new coffee recipes, and coordinating plant trials. Finally, Laura became the Head of Product Development (R&D) at PROSOL, where they managed research and development projects, developed project scopes and budgets, and collaborated with cross-functional teams.
Laura Pesquera Prieto completed their Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering with a specialization in Food Industries from E.T.S.I.A. at the Palencia campus of the Universidad de Valladolid. Laura pursued this degree from 1998 to 2004.
