Maartje van de Ven

Maartje van de Ven has extensive experience in policy advising, particularly in energy transition, environmental planning, climate adaptation, and economic matters, working with Provincie Noord-Holland since August 2000 in various roles. These roles include advising on energy infrastructure, climate adaptation strategies, and spatial planning, as well as overseeing economic policies related to retail and industrial areas. Prior to this, Maartje worked as a consultant for CREM BV and Chemiewinkel UvA, focusing on environmental management, research projects, and policy development. Maartje van de Ven holds a DRS degree in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, earned between 1988 and 1994.
