Christian Roggia

Christian Roggia has a diverse work experience in various roles related to DevOps, cloud security, and software engineering. Christian is currently working at Qarik Group as a Senior DevOps Engineer, responsible for implementing and managing DevOps practices. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and a DevOps Engineer at Qarik Group. Christian'swork involved migrating a Fortune 500 insurance company from Tanzu/Pivotal Cloud Foundry to an Open-Source implementation of VMware Cloud Foundry. Christian also played a crucial role in implementing Bazel monorepository for a leading aviation and air booking system provider, handling hundreds of teams and scaling CI/CD pipelines.

Before joining Qarik Group, Christian was the Co-Founder and Principal Cloud Engineer at Animeshon, where they served as the CEO. Christian has also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Engel & Völkers, specializing in Golang backend development and contributing to the Kubernetes and Helm projects. Additionally, they have experience as a Lead Software Engineer at Regalia Entertainment, where they worked on gaming software development.

Christian Roggia attended the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. In April 2023, they also obtained a certification as an Associate Cloud Engineer from Google Cloud.
