Nishad Mohammed started their work experience in 1998 as a Sales Executive at BPL Mobile for six months. In 1998, they also worked as a Business Executive in Retail Banking at HDFC Bank until September 1999. In 2002, they worked as a Financial Planning Officer at Citi for the entire year. From 2003 to 2005, they held the role of Sales Executive at Citi for Auto Loans. Then, from 2006 to 2007, they became a Sales Development Manager for Auto Loans at Citi. Nishad Mohammed worked as a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking at Citi from January 2008 to February 2013. Finally, they joined QIB in February 2013 and held the position of Relationship Manager in the Medium Corporates division of the Business Banking Division in the Wholesale Banking Group.

Nishad Mohammed completed their Higher Secondary Education in Commerce at Sharjah Indian School from 1994 to 1995. Nishad then attended the University of Mysore from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree with a focus on Marketing. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance at Oxford Brookes University from 1999 to 2001.
