Ling Hou

Ling Hou has extensive work experience in the telecommunications and digital services industry. Ling is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Qrious Limited. Prior to this, they worked at Spark New Zealand, where they played a key role in transforming the company's culture to a customer-focused, empowered, and faster delivery model. Ling also served as the Security Portfolio Director at Spark New Zealand, where they successfully delivered a new portfolio of Cyber Security Services and empowered security experts with a Design Thinking mindset. Before joining Spark New Zealand, Ling held various positions at Spark Digital NZ, Gen-i, First Descent, Telecom, EMS-Global Ltd, and Conduit Communications, gaining experience in security services, ICT consulting, architecture, and delivery. Throughout their career, Ling has shown strong leadership skills and a strategic approach to driving innovation and business growth.

Ling Hou completed a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Auckland from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, during the same period, Ling Hou also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Information Systems from The University of Auckland. In terms of certifications, Ling Hou obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional Agile Team Facilitation from ICAgile in 2020, the ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Fundamentals in 2019, the Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2018, the Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2017, and the ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching from ICAgile in 2017.
