Ayla Abiad

Ayla Abiad is an experienced project manager and architect specializing in healthcare planning, design, and construction. Currently serving as a project manager at R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc., Ayla oversees significant projects for Cook County Health & Hospital and the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. As the founder of the BAB Foundation since 2016, Ayla has contributed to various community initiatives. Previous roles include project architect positions at Bancroft Architects + Engineers and AE7, along with architectural design experience at WENDEL Companies and MND Associates. Ayla has also held teaching roles as an adjunct professor at Villa Maria College and has a robust educational background, including a Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo, focusing on sustainability studies.
