Julia Lopez

Julia Lopez is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and product development. Currently serving as Director of Hardware Engineering at Kelvin since April 2024, Julia previously held key leadership roles including Head of Hardware at VotingWorks and a consulting position at Dame Products, where management of a team of engineers and oversight of multiple projects were pivotal responsibilities. Julia's tenure at goTenna as a Mechanical Engineer led to significant cost reductions, while earlier roles involved product design and manufacturing in the sexual health sector and logistics improvements in power plant machinery. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master’s in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
