David Coffey

David Coffey possesses extensive experience in journalism and media management, currently serving as Deputy Head of Service for RFI English at Radio France Internationale since February 2015. Prior to this role, David was the Head of Service for RFI Kiswahili and held various positions at RFI English as an editor, producer, and presenter from June 2002 to September 2013. David's early career includes serving as a News Correspondent at RTÉ and as an International Dubbing Coordinator at Sony Pictures Entertainment. David began in journalism as a Business and Education Journalist at The Sunday Tribune. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Audiovisual Management from MAGICA Rome, a Higher National Diploma in Film Production from Senior College Ballyfermot, and ongoing studies in New Digital Content Production at TRAM Universidad de Madrid, alongside a Diploma in TV Production from Sandford Institute.
