Emily Bild is an experienced leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Transformation at GoPhilanthropic Foundation, where a spend-down strategy is being developed in light of the foundation's closure by December 2024. Emily has held various leadership roles, including Director of Programs and Regional Programme Manager for India and Nepal, and currently serves as a Trustee for Railway Children. A freelance consultant since 2014, Emily has provided technical support on child protection and conducted evaluations for various organizations, including UNICEF India and TARA Child Protection & Empowerment. With a strong background in disaster risk reduction and child rights advocacy, Emily has worked with multiple national and international NGOs, driving policy and advocacy initiatives. Emily holds a Postgraduate Degree in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Impact from Bayes Business School, an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a BA (Hons) in Media and Cultural Studies with English Literature from Liverpool John Moores University.
