Kate Marsay

Kate Marsay has had a diverse range of work experiences. Kate began their career as a Marketing Manager and Editor at Dynasty Asset Management, where they were responsible for writing and editing newsletters, managing the website, and implementing the marketing strategy. Kate then joined Praekelt.org and Ada Developers Academy as a Lecturer, teaching front-end web development. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Development at Those Production Girls, where they oversee the production and management of entertainment projects.

Kate Marsay completed a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and English Literature at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand for an Editing for Professionals Course focusing on Language Editing. Later in 2016, they also undertook a Digital Marketing Course at the Red & Yellow School with a specialization in Marketing. In 2017, Kate joined the University of Cape Town to pursue a Project Management Foundation Course in Project Management. Prior to their university education, they attended Parktown High School for Girls, although the specific dates of attendance are unknown.
