Robert Newman

Robert Newman is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Reaction Engines since September 2020, with prior experience as an Aerodynamic Design Engineer at Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited from August 2019 to September 2020, where collaboration with aerodynamicists on wind tunnel parts and updating aerodynamic testing equipment were key responsibilities. Robert also contributed to Sheffield Formula Racing during studies at The University of Sheffield from November 2015 to July 2019, enhancing skills in manufacturing techniques. Previously, as a Design Engineer at MetLase Ltd from August 2017 to September 2018, Robert was involved in customer-focused design and development, utilizing CAD and laser cutting technologies. Robert holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Sheffield, earned in 2019.
